Edible Landscaping Tip of the Week!

October 7, 2014

Love the idea of growing your own food, but not sure you've got the resources to pull it off? It doesn't have to take much to start the revolution in your own front yard. You don't have to give up your lifestyle to start farming. Sneak in the edibles where you can. Our tip of the week: EDIBLE GROUNDCOVER. If you have a stone walkway in your yard, grab a flat of creeping thyme and cut small sections to plant along the path. Make sure you've got some way to irrigate the groundcover. The thyme will fill out the space in between the stones, prevent pressure from weeds, beautify yours space, and provide you with something delicious to serve up in your kitchen! Get creative - and stay tuned for more tips!
